These Spirulina Cacao Energy Balls are packed with plant protein, the perfect snack when you’re on the go or need an energy boost either pre or post-workout.
Ingredients
- 3 tbsp Naturya Cacao powder, plus additional for rolling if desired
 - 200g medjool dates, pitted and chopped up
 - 1/2 cup (75g) cashews
 - 1/2 cup (75g) almonds
 - 1/3 cup (50g) Naturya Goji Berries
 - 25g Naturya Cacao Nibs
 - 1 tbsp Naturya Spirulina powder
 - 1 tbsp Naturya Chia Seeds
 - 1 tbsp Naturya Maca powder
 - 2 tbsp agave syrup, plus additional if required
 - 2 tbsp desiccated coconut, plus additional for rolling if desired
 
Method
- Add all the ingredients to a food processor and process until a sticky mixture is formed
 - If the mixture is still too crumbly, add more agave syrup and process again
 - Spoon out 1 tbsp of the mixture and roll into a ball with your hands
 - Repeat this process until the mixture is used
 - Roll the balls into additional Cacao powder and/or desiccated coconut if desired
 - Place the energy balls on a plate or baking tray and refrigerate for 30 minutes before serving
 - Remove from the fridge and enjoy as a snack
