These Spirulina Cacao Energy Balls are packed with plant protein, the perfect snack when you’re on the go or need an energy boost either pre or post-workout.


  • 3 tbsp Naturya Cacao powder, plus additional for rolling if desired
  • 200g medjool dates, pitted and chopped up
  • 1/2 cup (75g) cashews
  • 1/2 cup (75g) almonds
  • 1/3 cup (50g) Naturya Goji Berries
  • 25g Naturya Cacao Nibs
  • 1 tbsp Naturya Spirulina powder
  • 1 tbsp Naturya Chia Seeds
  • 1 tbsp Naturya Maca powder
  • 2 tbsp agave syrup, plus additional if required
  • 2 tbsp desiccated coconut, plus additional for rolling if desired


  • Add all the ingredients to a food processor and process until a sticky mixture is formed
  • If the mixture is still too crumbly, add more agave syrup and process again
  • Spoon out 1 tbsp of the mixture and roll into a ball with your hands
  • Repeat this process until the mixture is used
  • Roll the balls into additional Cacao powder and/or desiccated coconut if desired
  • Place the energy balls on a plate or baking tray and refrigerate for 30 minutes before serving
  • Remove from the fridge and enjoy as a snack
