Green Cookie Sandwiches

Trying something new for International Vegetarian Week? Delight your taste buds with these moreish green cookies brimming with nutrients from a combination of nourishing superfoods including Chlorella, Coconut Oil and our invigorating Green Blend. They're ready in under 30 minutes, gluten-free, vegan and refined sugar free to fit every lifestyle. Filled with our indulgent Cashew & Hazelnut spread, they may as well be the most luscious dessert you've tried in a while!


  • Dry Ingredients
  • 180g gluten free self raising flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 2 tsp (10g) Naturya Green Blend
  • 1 tsp (5g) Naturya Chlorella Powder
  • 1/4 tsp sea salt
  • Wet Ingredients
  • 75g Naturya Coconut Oil
  • 80g banana(preferably overripe)
  • 100g Naturya Coconut Sugar
  • Filling
  • Naturya Cashew & Hazelnut spread


  • Preheat the oven to 170℃
  • Sift all the dry ingredients into a large mixing bowl
  • Combine the coconut oil, banana and coconut sugar and mix until you have a smooth paste
  • Add a tablespoon of the dry mix to the wet ingredients and carefully mix together, repeat with another tablespoon of the dry mix
  • Add the wet mix to the rest of the dry mix and carefully mix together until fully combined
  • Chill in the fridge for 10 minutes 
  • Roll into small equally sized balls (around 20g each) and place on a baking tray, keeping a gap between each one
  • Using the bottom of a glass, slightly flatten each ball into a thick disk
  • Bake for 8-10 minutes until, being careful not to let them go too brown
  • Transfer to a cooling rack and allow to cool completely
  • Place half a teaspoon of Cashew & Hazelnut spread to the underside of one cookie, then place another cookie onto, gently squeezing together to create a sandwich. Repeat with the remaining cookies and enjoy!
