Valentine's Berry Flapjacks

How about a superfood twist on the classic flapjack recipe? Vegan, gluten-free and bursting with nutrients, these flapjacks are heart shaped for more than one (Valentine's) reason! They were made with our Berry Buzz Overnight Oats which are a fantastic source of beta-glucans to help lower cholesterol hence support heart health.

Ingredients

Method

Add the Berry Buzz Oats and oat flour to a bowl along with the coconut sugar, baking powder and salt and mix together. Melt the Coconut Oil, add it to the mix and stir together.

Place in the fridge for approx 15 minutes and then spoon 3/4 of the mixture into a silicone heart mould and smooth down until nicely compact.

Spoon over the Cashew & Hazelnut Superfood Spread, add some smashed raspberries, then top with the remaining oat mixture and place into the oven for approx 20 minutes at 170°C.

Remove from the oven and allow to cool completely.

Enjoy for breakfast, as a snack or dessert!
